SEAN Dyche believes young striker Dan Agyei has a bright future ahead of him after the 19-year-old joined Coventry City on loan until January.
The former AFC Wimbledon youngster featured for the Clarets in pre-season but has now made the temporary move to the Sky Blues in League One.
“We like Dan a lot and I know Tony (Mowbray) and like him a lot. It’s a good club and I hope Tony does well there,” said Dyche.
“We really like Dan, he’s done really well for us in pre-season, he played at Bolton, there were good signs then.
“I don’t think he’s quite ready for us in the first team, but I think he’s a really good player and I think he’s got a bright future for us. Part of that future will be going out on loan to get that experience.”
Mowbray added: “This club has a good record of getting the best out of young Premier League talent and Daniel will certainly add some power and pace to our attack.
“He is a young player with huge potential.”
