BURNLEY are still waiting to find out how much they will receive from Liverpool for Danny Ings following the end of the tribunal hearing.

The five-man panel sat in Manchester on Tuesday and are now set to write to inform the two clubs of the compensation fee they have set for the 23-year-old's switch from Turf Moor to Anfield last summer.

Clarets chief executive Dave Baldwin and boss Sean Dyche attended the tribunal, officially known as a Professional Football Compensation Committee (PFCC) hearing, in Manchester on Tuesday, while Ings and Liverpool's chief executive Ian Ayre were also thought to be in attendance.

Ings left Burnley at the end of his contract last summer to move to Liverpool, but because he was under the age of 24 and was moving to another club in England the Clarets were due a fee for the striker who scored 43 goals in 130 games for the club, including 11 in their Premier League campaign last season.

The two clubs were unable to agree a few between themselves, with Liverpool's £4million offer in January 2015 rejected and negotiations last summer failing to end in a deal.

Both clubs made representations to the tribunal and they now await their findings, with no date set for when they will be informed.
