BURNLEY still have ‘question marks’ over the fitness of Sam Vokes and Joey Barton ahead of tomorrow’s top-of-the-table clash with Middlesbrough at Turf Moor.

Vokes missed the 2-1 win at Birmingham on Saturday with a groin injury picked up in the win against Leeds the week before, whole Barton came off at half-time at St Andrew’s with a calf injury.

A decision on whether the pair are fit enough to face Aitor Karanka’s league leaders will be made on Tuesday morning.

"We've still got a question mark over Vokesy and Joey, they were in for treatment today and we'll decide tomorrow morning whether they're fit to play,” said Dyche.

“We're keen for the whole squad to be as fit as it can be, that's the main thing going into these remaining games, we've shown great signs with the players who have come in and affected it - Dean Marney, Ashley Barnes coming in on Saturday did fantastically well, physically, particularly Barnesy after such a long time out.

"We want everyone fit and well.”
