ANDRE GRAY

WHAT a record the £6million signing from Brentford has for Burnley.

Last year was his first in the Championship but you’d never guess he was still learning at this level.

Since signing for Burnley in August he has scored 18 goals in 25 games, but he brings so much more to the table.

His movement is getting better and his understanding with Sam Vokes continues to develop.

WINGERS

THE addition of James Tarkowski further added to the depth in Sean Dyche’s squad, but the one area he missed out on improving was out wide.

Alan Judge and Alex Pritchard were both targeted but neither arrived and there remains a feeling that the Clarets are missing something in that area.

Scott Arfield has been in good goalscoring form was industrious on Tuesday, but George Boyd was below his best and replaced.

AWAY FORM

SHEFFIELD Wednesday have been faultless at home of late so a point at is not to be sniffed at.

That many of the Burnley squad felt disappointed they had not taken all three says a lot about their improvement on the road in recent weeks.

After the derby win over Blackburn in October, Dyche’s side failed to win any of their next five away games but there has been a marked improvement of late and this draw was another solid result.
