BURNLEY manager Sean Dyche and defender Michael Keane have reassured supporters they are happy at Turf Moor, after being linked with other clubs.

Dyche is reported to have been identified by struggling Sunderland for the top job if head coach Dick Advocaat walks away, while top scorer Keane has been linked with both Everton and Newcastle United after impressing in the Premier League last season and in his partnership with Michael Duff this term.

But both said they were happy getting on with their jobs at Burnley and were not seeking a move.

“It’s a story from another paper,” said Dyche.

“Somehow I’m engaged in that. I’m not. I’m here, I want to win games, I’m getting on with it.

“I shouldn’t have to answer to it really but if you want me to I’m happy getting on with what we’re doing, we’re trying to win games, we’ll try again tonight and we’ll try to win as many games as we can.”

Keane, who is looking to help the Clarets recover from their first home loss of the season, to Reading,  when they travel to take on Rotherham tonight (kick-off 7.45pm) added: “I want to stay here and get the club back to where it belongs - in the Premier League. We’ve brought a few great players in who weren’t here last year and kept most of the squad. There’s a lot of experience and a lot of quality so if we can keep everybody fit then we’ll be near the top at the end.

“It’s not unsettling at all. I tend not to read stuff like that. My friends will tell me things but I don’t read in to it at all. I’m really happy at Burnley and I want to stay here. The club and fans have been brilliant with me.

“Burnley gave me the platform to showcase myself and show my talents in the first place. The gaffer showed great belief in me in the Premier League and I played a lot of games last season. I’ve come in this year and I feel like one of the main men here so I’m really enjoying it and the fans seem to like me. I couldn’t be happier.”
