HALF-TIME: Chesterfield 1, Burnley 2 TWO goals in eight minutes gave Burnley a half-time lead.
Lukas Jutkiewicz scored first for the Clarets, continuing his impressive pre-season form.
The striker converted from close range from Matt Lowton's low cross, having been denied on the volley by the crossbar just two minutes later.
George Boyd was denied by Tendayi Darikwa on the line but added the second for the Clarets soon after.
Fredrik Ulvestad's throughball split the Chesterfield defence and Boyd was left with a one-on-one, rounding the keeper and slotting the ball into an empty net.
Burnley had dominated possession and chances but had their lead halved in the 25th minute when Jake Orrell scored from Darikwa's pull back into a packed penalty box.
