BURNLEY begin life back in the Championship with a mouthwatering trip to Leeds United, when the 2015/16 Football League campaign kicks off on August 8.

Their first home game is against Birmingham City the following weekend, while the East Lancashire derby dates with fierce rivals Blackburn Rovers are scheduled for October 24, at Ewood Park, and March 5, 2016, at Turf Moor.

The Clarets must wait until December 5 for their reunion with Preston North End, at home, with the reverse fixture at Deepdale on April 23.

The festive fixtures have thrown up a Boxing Day trip to Hull City, with the visit of Ipswich Town the first game of the new year on January 2, 2016.

The final home game of the season is against QPR, and the campaign concludes away to Charlton Athletic on May 7.
