HAMPDEN will host an all-Spanish Uefa Cup Final with holders Sevilla set to defend their crown against Espanyol on May 16, at the National Stadium.

The holders will be attempting to become the first side since Real Madrid in 1986 to make a successful Uefa Cup defence.

But Espanyol coach Ernesto Valverde, whose side notched a 5-1 aggregate victory over Werder Bremen, believes Sevilla are the red-hot favourites.

He said: "Sevilla are the holders and they are favourites.

"They are still in with a chance of winning the La Liga and the King's Cup as well as the Uefa Cup. I don't expect they'll be giving anything away to us."

Meanwhile, Sevilla boss Juande Ramos is delighted his side have booked a May visit to Glasgow.

He said: "Getting to two consecutive finals is an achievement which is within reach of very few teams and we've done it."
