How important are the final four home games at Turf Moor this season against Tottenham, Arsenal, Leicester and Stoke in Burnley’s battle to avoid the drop?

Andrew Kerin

I don’t think there is any more pressure to win at home than away. If anything, on paper at least, the away games are more winnable.

I am confident we can get at least one more away win somewhere, most likely at Hull. We are capable of getting a point at Everton and Villa. Tottenham and Arsenal will be tough but we have an excellent record against Spurs on the Turf and can get a point. Games against Leicester and Stoke will decide our fate but I would be looking for four points at least. That would give us 10 points that will keep us up.

Every game is going to be important but we could do with picking up at least a point or two from Tottenham and Arsenal, if not a win.

We have winnable games at the back end of the season but they are against teams we have struggled against so far, it is the teams who are in the bottom half that we have tended to have difficulty beating this season.

What we do need to do at Turf Moor is recreate the atmosphere from the City game, that will be a huge boost to the team and it will make a difference.

There’s no reason why that shouldn’t be the case against Tottenham and Arsenal, and hopefully the break will do us some good.
