GEORGE Boyd will make his Burnley debut this afternoon after being included in the Clarets’ starting line-up for their Premier League fixture at Crystal Palace.

Boyd – signed from Hull City on September 1 - starts on the flank in place of Matt Taylor, who misses out through injury.

The Clarets otherwise name the same team that drew 0-0 at home to Manchester United in their last match two weeks ago.

Fellow new boys Michael Keane and Nathaniel Chalobah have travelled to Selhurst Park but are not included in the 18-man squad, having only linked up with their new team-mates on Thursday following England under 21 international duty.

Palace hand a debut to new £7m signing James McArthur, also a target for Burnley during the transfer window.
