Chelsea youngster Chalobah checks in for Clarets

First published in Sport

BURNLEY have made Nathaniel Chalobah their second deadline day signing, on a four-month loan from Chelsea.

The midfielder will join up with the Clarets until January, once he returns from international duty.

Chalobah is with Burnley striker Danny Ings and the rest of the England Under 21s squad as they prepare for UEFA U21 Championship qualifiers against Lithuania and Moldova on September 5 and 9 respectively.

The 19-year-old has previously spent time on loan at Watford, Nottingham Forest and Middlesbrough but Chelsea Jose Mourinho felt he was ready for a taste of the Premier League.

As a Rovers fan I really hope he does well for you! Been touted as England's next best thing for a while but never got a proper chance in the Prem. England squad is looking very grim without Gerrard and Lampard. Hopefully this lad can go some way to filling the void.

Thanks for your good wishes and I agree with you as well. Only problem with a loanee is if he is excellent then they'll want him back after the loan (however we are talking about Chelsea so we might get him for longer seeing as how they don't actually need him I suppose).

Come on. Climb out of the hole. Stand, stairway number aisle and seat number. There's security in all the stands. Prove your a BFC fan. Painless and easy. Alternative = Come down the Rodney. All in peace. Bring the season ticket card and you win. Please ale and supper on offer.

This lad really has top potential and I am told is a good player now, a team mate of Danny Ings in Under 23’s. Chelsea have agreed to a four month loan, but if he gets game time and does well I suspect they may extend that. In any case it gives Burnley time to look round in preparation for the next window.

Disappointed with the Rovers business and fully expect some bad news before the window shuts. Squeaky bum time for us.

No next stop your house Duncan when the address is published. You actually look like a Barry after all this but I guess Duncan will have to do. Must admit you also look suspiciously like that guy in the Telegraph who was caught hanging round school playgrounds, it wasn't you was it ?

Now the individual with so many IDs has a chance to prove me a liar and a sh!t.

If he states which stand he sits in, the stairway number, the aisle number and the seat number at The Turf, as a season ticket holder he will do two things.

Firstly, he will prove that AP4B is a Burnley fan.
Secondly, he will automatically prove that he has nothing to do with BRFC Peoples Chumps, TMT or any other ID, and that we were all wrong.

Alternatively, he can come down to the Admiral Lord Rodney with his Season Ticket Card. No trouble. And a pint and a meal for his efforts.

And we sign off here ashamed, proven a liar, stuffed and defeated.

Perhaps a little inducement will help? Tick tock ........ the back three letters/digits of his postcode then tick tock tick tock, the first 3 letters/digits of the post code, tick tock, the town etc.

It's probably dependant on us staying up. I think you could knock anything up to £1m off that if we drop into the Championship.

Feel a bit mugged off with this outcome, proper mugged in the Boyd deal, he was our sixth choice, lord only knows how sh1t this guy is, 7 goals in 5 years, I see Mcarthur opted to stay at Wigan, oh hang on a minute, and ben arfar in the pipeline, er hang about what about cleverly he was available, just Boyd and a kid from Chelsea, what about the rest of the transfer money Jesus United payed more for a loan signing than we did in total.

Top man for beating him at his own game there.

What goes around comes around and as he's been projecting his self-loathing onto anyone who'll bite for many years now, it's come all the way round to confront him face-on.

Of course, he's far too weak to acknowledge this and will continue to try and deflect, remain in a state of blissful denial and take the stance of a man in a cave on Mars with his fingers in his ears going 'nahnahnahnahnah' ad naseum. He deserves everything that's in the post to him.
