BLACKBURN Rovers have made five changes for this afternoon’s East Lancashire derby at Ewood Park – but Burnley name an unchanged team for the eighth game running.
Rovers welcome back fit-again duo, captain Grant Hanley and David Dunn, hand a debut to Manchester United loanee Michael Keane and a home debut to Luke Varney, and recall Corry Evans.
Injury rules Matt Kilgallon out completely while Markus Olsson, Lee Williamson, Chris Taylor and Rudy Gestede drop to a bench which includes Liam Feeney, the winger signed on loan from Championship rivals Millwall yesterday.
Rovers have not lost any of their last 11 matches to Burnley, a run stretching back 35 years.
But the second-placed Clarets come into the clash 20 points clear of their 10th-placed rivals.
Rovers: Robinson, Henley, Keane, Hanley, Spurr, Varney, Lowe, Evans, Conway, Dunn, Rhodes. Subs: Eastwood, Kane, Olsson, Williamson, Taylor, Feeney, Gestede.
Burnley: Heaton, Trippier, Duff, Shackell, Mee, Marney, Jones, Arfield, Kightly, Ings, Vokes. Subs: Cisak, Wallace, Stanislas, Edgar, Treacy, Long, Barnes.
