NEW signing Ashley Barnes is named on the bench for Burnley after completing his move from Brighton on Thursday.

The 24-year-old striker penned a three-and-a-half year deal worth around £750,000 but must bide his time behind prolific strike pair Sam Vokes and top scorer Danny Ings.

Defender Michael Duff celebrates his 36th birthday by returning to the back four, after being rested for the FA Cup third round game at Southampton last weekend.

Manager Sean Dyche names a strong bench, with Michael Kightly returning after a minor injury.

Barnes and Kightly replace Steven Hewitt and Cameron Dummigan among the substitutes.

Ben Aimee remains sidelined with a thigh strain.
