Une Artiste can make a successful switch to fences in the Autumn Gala Novices’ Limited Handicap Chase at Plumpton.

Nicky Henderson’s charge was a classy performer over hurdles in her pomp, winning the 2012 Fred Winter at Cheltenham before following up in another graded event at Prestbury Park.

The five-year-old looked likely to continue in the same vein when winning Listed races on her first two outings last term but she then appeared to lose her way a bit, disappointing at both Cheltenham and Ayr in the spring.

Une Artiste returned to Wetherby for her seasonal bow in a Listed race she won last year but she proved no match for the winner, Cockney Sparrow, who has since advertised the form by finishing second in the Fighting Fifth Hurdle at Newcastle.

While she made need a bit further than just over two miles now, it is worth noting that a number of Henderson runners have need their initial outings.

To that end, Une Artiste should be a lot sharper than at Wetherby.

Mr Spiggott had no chance on his hurdles bow but should find the attheraces.com Exclusive Barry Geraghty Blog Novices’ Hurdle an easier task.

Twice a winner on the level, he was pitched in against Regal Encore on his National Hunt debut and unsurprisingly found himself outclassed by the Champion Bumper runner-up.

He kept on for admirable third that day and given his satisfactory round of jumping, Mr Spiggott looks sure to make his mark in this sphere.

Tweedledrum makes most appeal in the Follow @AtTheRaces On Twitter Mares’ Handicap Hurdle.

She was comprehensively outclassed in a Listed event at Kempton last week but has taken a couple of runs to come right in the past and this could be the case again here.

Tarabela can make light of a lengthy absence in the Tysers Handicap Chase.

The 10-year-old was twice a winner last February but has been off the track since her game victory at Towcester.

She dealt with an 11lb hike admirably that day and while she has further 3lb to shoulder here, Johnny Farrelly’s charge should not be ruled out.

Tasrih suffered defeat last time but still appears to be on a workable mark in the Download The BetVictor App Now Handicap at Kempton.

The four-year-old made it third-time lucky when winning at Lingfield at the beginning of November and was pitched into handicap company off a mark of 79.

He raced very keenly that day at this track, though, and paid for his exertions as he was hunted down in the dying strides.

Despite that defeat, Tasrih remains a promising handicap prospect for Alan McCabe.

Balducci can make use of a drop in class to land a confidence-boosting win in the BetVictor Non-Runner Free Bet Cheltenham 2014 Claiming Stakes.

Rated as high as 105 last January, he has fallen down the ratings to a perch of 90 - his lowest mark in well over three years.

Now with David O’Meara, he could be yet another runner to benefit from the trainer’s knack of reviving older runners.

Rural Affair is the choice in the 32Red On The App Store Nursery Handicap at Wolverhampton.

Fornerly trained by Harry Dunlop, she made a good start for Michael Appleby when winning a similar event to this at Dunstall Park in suitably impressive style last week.

Appleby is obviously keen to capitalise on her current good form and Rural Affair could quite easily hit the mark again.
