Clarets set to include Cisak in squad
CLARETS goalkeeper Alex Cisak is set to return to the squad for tomorrow’s trip to Millwall, after missing the midweek Capital One Cup game for a High Court appearance.
The Polish-born Australia youth international began legal proceedings against surgeon Bhaskar Bhowal after claiming he was cleared to play too early following treatment at Leicester Hospital on a wrist injury.
The case, which was dropped yesterday, meant Cisak was not available for the home tie with West Ham, which Burnley lost 2-0.
The 24-year-old, who had a full season with Accrington Stanley in 2010/11, signed on a free transfer at Turf Moor in the summer following his release from Oldham.
He made his debut as a second-half substitute against Brighton following first choice keeper Tom Heaton’s sending off.
Cisak played his only full game for Burnley in the next game – a 2-0 Capital One Cup win over Preston.
