Clarets closing in on loan signing

BURNLEY are close to agreeing a loan move for Fulham’s Alexander Kacaniklic.
The midfielder would be Sean Dyche’s first signing since taking charge of the Clarets in late October, and would be eligible to go into the squad for tomorrow’s game at Charlton Athletic if the deal is completed in time, as expected.
Kacaniklic played under Dyche at Watford last season, and was a key figure in turning their season around before being recalled to Fulham.
The Sweden international scored in a 3-2 win against Burnley at Vicarage Road last March, which began an unbeaten run of seven games for the Hornets.
With midfielders Dean Marney and Chris McCann doubtful, after both limped out of Tuesday’s home defeat to Huddersfield Town, Kacaniklic could go straight into the Burnley team at The Valley tomorrow.
Burnley’s only move in the the transfer market since the turn of the year has been the arrival of Dane Richards from MLS side Vancouver Whitecaps.
The winger signed a pre-contract agreement under previous boss Eddie Howe.
