Blackburn Rovers duo Lucas Neill and Robbie Savage will be walking a disciplinary tightrope at Portsmouth this weekend.
Both players are currently on nine cautions and another booking at Fratton Park on Saturday would see them miss two of Rovers' final six league games.
However, the deadline for suspensions under the tottting up process expires after the weekend.
So if both players can get through the game without picking up their 10th caution of the season then they would escape a ban.
Instead they would receive a warning about their future conduct.
