DARTFORD Harrier David Hall had a busy weekend when he travelled to Glasgow's Kelvin Hall Indoor Arena for the schools international pentathlon championships.
Competing at the event on Saturday were teams from England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
Hall was selected for the English schools team of four, who were highly successful in winning the gold medal.
The pentathlon is composed of five events: 60m hurdles, shot, high jump, long jump and 800m.
Hall is currently ranked in the UK Rankings list at second in the octathlon and fourth in the high jump.
Elsewhere, Sparrows Den in Beckenham was the venue for the latest of the Kent cross country league fixtures on Saturday.
The weather was sunny with the course somewhat muddy with two steep hills in the wooded section.
