A BECKENHAM triathlete enjoyed a podium finish at the challenge triathlon championships in Roth, Germany.
Nick Kinsey, a member of Blackheath & Bromley Harriers AC, was representing Tri UK at the event which attracted more than 3,500 competitors from across the world.
And the Beckenham man didn’t disappoint, taking third place in the 50+ age division in one of the longest running Ironman distance races with a time of 9hrs22m to secure a bronze.
Kinsey was one of only two UK athletes to win a medal, with fellow Brit Chrissie Wellington breaking her own previous world record in her category with a time of 8hrs18m.
