SIMON Parrin led the Istead & Ifield contingent home in the latest fixture of the Kent Fitness League at Fowlmead Park on Sunday.
An eight-strong team from Istead made up of seven men and one woman took part, but the minimum requirement for a ladies’ team is three, so Sally Whitelaw could only record an individual 31st placing in 40m29s.

Elsewhere, Mark Champion took part in the Benfleet 15-mile race, where he came 33rd of 627 finishers in 1hr42m05s.
