ISTEAD & Ifield’s over 50s men’s team placed ninth at the Kent veterans cross country championships on Saturday.
A milder wind caused runners no difficulty and there was not too much mud on the course for a change.
The course was set around flat fields with an interesting hilly section in a short woodland section.
Ladies and over 60s men ran two laps of the 2,400m course, while the 40+ and 50+ men had four circuits to complete.
Eight Istead runners took part in total.
