Chorley athlete James Kevan, 21, had a great run in one of the British Championship races held in Durisdeer, Dumfries, Scotland last Saturday. James won the U23 race giving him two wins out of two in the U23 British Fell Championship.

It was a tough 10.5 mile race with 3800 ft of climb divided by the number of mountains that he ran.

James had to work hard to get away from his nearest U23 rival.

James descended brilliantly to pull away and secure the win.
