Chorley woman, Amie Kevan, continued her good season by winning the U20 North of England Championship in the javelin with a throw of 35.07.
Amie, 18, of Springwood Drive, Chorley, also won the Lancashire County Championship in May for the 5th time.
The weather for the competition, held at Sports City, Manchester, last weekend, was perfect for some great athletics.
Unfortunately Amie had to choose between the Northern Championships and the Lancashire Schools due to both events being held on the same day.
Not an easy decision as Amie was also the reigning Lancashire schools Champion.
Her brother Danny, 22, had a great run in the senior men’s 800m final running a PB of 1:56:73.
