TODMORDEN stand-in skipper Jon Henderson is hoping his side can shake off the disappointment of losing Jacques Rudolph with a win over Rishton.

The South African international was called up by the Proteas for their tour of Sri Lanka after just playing five games for the Centre Vale side.

But they have a more than capable replacement in former Pakistan international Naved Ashraf.

Henderson said: "Losing Jacques was a bit of a shock and it may have dented the confidence a little but it's up to me to get the boys up and remind them that we're one maximum point win from going top of the table if results go our way."

Skipper Stuart Priestley is away on holiday and is replaced in the side by Mo Bux.

Rishton are hoping to get back to winning ways after fouling foul to Bacup's seven wicket hero Chris Cairns last weekend.

Captain Peter Sleep said: "We could have gone top but we have to forget about that now and get back to our winning ways."

Sean Hutchinson returns to replace the unavailable John Seedle.

Tama Canning faces his old side as HASLINGDEN take on Accrington tomorrow.

Stuart Catterall's side includes Andrew Smith and Barry Knowles with Joe Sipocz and Joe Marcroft dropping out from this afternoon's team.

Accrington will be unchanged from the side that hit more than 200 at Todmorden last Saturday.

COLNE have confirmed that Pakistan all-rounder, Adnan Malik, has signed for the remainder of the season.

Malik, who replaces Mahendra Nagamootoo, played in last weekend's rain-affected matches and will be in the starting line-up against East Lancs tomorrow.

Captain David Swarbrick said: "It's great Adnan has signed for the rest of the season. He has looked very lively and eager in training this week and that is what we need."

Stuart Lemon returns for Sid Sheraz.

East Lancs are missing Andy Clague for the game and have Mohammed Zahid back as sub pro for the match.

Captain Paul Turner is looking to turn the corner after a poor run of results.

He said: "At the start of the season, you wouldn't have said either side would be down at the foot of the table but we haven't played well enough and we need to put that right."

RAWTENSTALL name an unchanged side for the trip to bottom-of-the-table Church, whose captain Phil Sykes has been encouraged by recent displays from his youngsters.

Sri Lanka professional Ruvin Peiris has carried much of the fight for Church this season, so Sykes is delighted to see contributions coming elsewhere.

"Ruvin, touch wood, is in great form," said Sykes. "In the first half of the season, we did not really back him up.

"But some of the younger lads are starting to put some runs together."

NELSON have recruited Ribblesdale League side Earby's big-hitting Ali Azmat as their paid man tomorrow as they face Bacup.

Azmat, who has passed 1000 runs in all competitions so far this season, comes in as Robin Peterson is touring with the South African Emerging players side.

Leaders Ramsbottom make just one change as they face champions LOWERHOUSE.

Mark Denith replaces Richard Rothwell in the side.

ENFIELD skipper David Bracewell is gunning for revenge as his side look to show BURNLEY who's boss at Dill Hill Lane.

The in-form Turf Moor outfit got the better of Enfield last month, knocking the then league leaders off top spot with an eight-wicket win.

Bracewell said: "We're looking to put one over them. Last time, they beat us on the weather and I don't think they have lost since."

The home side make three changes, with Ghulam Bodi remaining sub-pro, while Neil Holmes and Andy Barker step in.

Burnley captain Jon Harvey welcomes back key names as he plots a league double over Enfield.

Jonathan Clare, Vishal Tripathi, Daniel Pickup and Chris Burton are all included.

Harvey said: "We're doing well at the moment - it's nice to be in the position we are in. But it is always tough at Enfield."
