BURNLEY are motoring along after landing their biggest ever five-figure sponsorship deal for the Cricket Field Stand.
Colne businessman David Fishwick has remained faithful to the Clarets by continuing to pledge his company's name to Turf Moor's 4,500-seater stand.
His expanding van and minibus business, now the largest supplier of 17-seater minibuses in Europe, has been the stand sponsor for the past two years.
And Fishwick is delighted after extending that deal for a further 12-month period.
He said: "I am proud to be a supporter of Burnley Football Club and happy to extend this sponsorship deal.
"It has been a happy and healthy relationship and signing the biggest ever sponsorship deal is a measure of how much faith I have in the club."
Burnley FC commercial manager Anthony Fairclough added: "We are delighted that David has agreed to extend the deal.
"He has yet again stepped up to the plate and injected valuable funds into the club at a crucial time."
