BURNLEY will look Premiership class in their brand new kit as they make an assault for promotion next season.

The club launched their new strips for the 2006/7 campaign this week and Steve Cotterill's side will certainly be dressed to thrill.

The Clarets will wear the new kit for the first time when they begin their pre-season campaign ahead of next season and fans will be able to purchase the home shirt in early June, while the away kit will be on sale by early July, enabling supporters to get a summer's wear out of the strips before next season kicks-off in early August.

"This season's kit was one of the most successful ever with close to 12,000 shirts sold and we feel next season's kit will be even better," said Retail Manager Paul Stanworth.

The home kit will have the traditional Claret shirt, with blue and white trim down the right-hand side and there are also two white pinstripes on the sleeve. There is a Claret collar with blue edging and an embroidered crest on the chest along with the Errea logo.

But the Turf heroes will wear claret shorts and socks at home this season.

The away shirt is primarily yellow with claret piping and trim and is worn with yellow shorts and socks.

There is a yellow collar with Claret edging and the shirt is paired with yellow shorts. The socks are yellow with a claret band and feature the text Burnley FC' A new addition to both kits this season is two stars which feature above the crest to represent Burnley's Championship titles.

Stanworth added: "With the added stars to commemorate the club's two championships, these high quality shirts are sure to be a winner with players and fans alike."

The kit has been manufactured using the very latest sporting fabrics and is the second to be launched by Italian kit suppliers Errea.

Both kits are now available to pre-order online with ClaretsDirect on the official website www.burnleyfc.com The home kit will be available in the Clarets superstore at Turf Moor from early June and the away kit will be on sale by early July.

As well as the new replica strip, Errea and Burnley FC will be launching a new training wear and leisurewear range in the future.
