A giant picture of Owen Coyle blowing a kiss to Burnley fans after the Championship play-off final at Wembley dominated the club shop window on Monday.
But as the news broke that Coyle wanted to leave Turf Moor to join Premier League rivals Bolton yesterday afternoon, it was soon a case of here today, gone tomorrow.
All references to Coyle, including those famous facemasks, were removed from the Turf Moor shop.
