Scholarship winner Tom Bradshaw had his first taste of Porsche power at a special test session at Thruxton as part of the build up to the coming season.
Bradshaw (pictured) was one of two drivers selected from over 50 applicants to each receive £50,000 towards racing in the Carrera Cup GB this season, and showed fine form as he got to grips with the dauntingly fast Hampshire track.
With only very limited opportunities to test at Thruxton, the Blackburn driver spent the day learning one of the fastest tracks on the Carrera Cup GB schedule.
“I’m now starting to like Thruxton!” said Bradshaw, who has joined Team Parker Racing.
“It has really given me a chance to learn the car and I’m loving it. The pace is there and I’m learning to use the tyres.”
l Tom is the guest of honour at Clitheroe and district motor club’s weekly meeting at Waddington Social Club, Waddington, near Clitheroe. The evening starts at 8.30pm, everyone welcome.
