STANLEY gained a great point at promotion-chasing Bradford to help ease their relegation worries.

Jimmy Ryan's free-kick after five minutes gave Stanley the lead in a game where they spent the vast majority in defensive mode.

Bobby Grant also came close in the first half but Kenny Arthur made a couple of world-class saves to keep the Bantams out before the break.

Barry Conlon restored parity six minutes after the break after Nicky Law got the better of Phil Edwards.

The closest either side came to a winner was deep into stoppage time when John Miles' effort was clawed out by Rhys Evans.
