KEVIN Davies has praised Wanderers’ decision to offer fans free travel to the Tottenham game.
Bolton travel to White Hart Lane for the Premier League clash on Sunday, October 26.
And, for the second time this season, the club will be putting on complimentary coaches for supporters travelling to London.
Wanderers provided free travel for last Sunday’s match at West Ham – and were rewarded with a first away win since April.
And Davies believes the large following – fans filled 11 coaches – helped Gary Megson’s side claim three important points.
“It’s brilliant news that the club is again offering free travel,” said the in-form striker, who scored the opener in the 3-1 win. “The fans who travelled to Upton Park last weekend to watch us win were in fine form and we could hear them all through the game.
“Hopefully they will bring that down to White Hart Lane at the end of the month and push us on for another three points.”
Anyone interested can contact the club’s promotions department on 01204 673 663. Non-members must book in person at the promotions office and have a match ticket at the time of booking. Under-16s must be accompanied by an adult.
