MORECAMBE'S hopes of stealing a march on their Northern League rivals were left under water when their game at Darwen was called-off.
Blackpool's match at home to Barrow was postponed on Friday with Stanley Park under water and Kendal and Netherfield were also under threat meaning Morecambe would benefit if they could play their game at Birch Hall.
But all games in the league were called off on Saturday morning.
