STAR Shrimp Stewart Drummond believes Morecambe can kick on from their first League 2 win of the season.
Drummond walked away with the man of the match bubbly thanks to a big display against his former club Shrewsbury on Saturday.
And he says the 1-0 success over the previously unbeaten joint-leaders can see the Shrimps finally get going.
"It hasn't been the start we would have wanted," says Drummond.
"But the win has been coming and with a little bit of luck we can move on from this.
"I thought we deserved it and it will lift everyone around the club.
"It was also our first clean sheet for 20-odd games and that boost everyone - and the defenders are mentioning it."
Boss Sammy McIlroy is equally delighted with the success.
"It's a superb three points against a very good team," he says.
"We defended well and battled for everything and it is an excellent day's work."
