Colne manager Nigel Coates believes fans will be missing out if they don’t get down to Holt House for tonight’s game with local rivals Nelson.

With both teams having endured poor starts to the seasson neither can afford to lose.

Colne supremo Coates believes this can only make for a good game.

Coates said: “You’ll see a couple of commited teams going all out for victory and if they don’t come along then they’ll be missing out.”

After Saturday’s 4-1 drubbing of Daisy Hill, Colne will be going in to the game full of confidence.

An added boost will be the return of Jamie Langley and Adam Whiteoak after overcoming injury, though Liam Garbutt will have to wait untill Saturday to make his return.

The Colne camp are expecting a sterner test tonight than that faced at the weekend.

Coates added: “Daisy Hill were quite a poor side and this will be a different challenge completely.”
