ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman insists any move for Shrewsbury's out-of-favour defender Darran Kempson is dead in the water.
Kempson, 23, who spent a two-month loan spell with the Reds last season, was one of four players left behind for Shrewsbury’s pre-season training camp in Spain.
It means the centre-back’s days with Town are numbered, but Stanley will not be making any approach because the Shrews are looking for a fee.
“We’ve already got down that road with Darran – but we’ve been priced out of the market,” said Reds boss Coleman.
