Bailey stars but Carnforth are blown out

RYAN Bailey made another big score - but Carnforth were hammered by Blackpool on a soggy Saturday.
The South African run machine surged beyond 800 league runs for the season as he made 61 in the game at Stanley Park.
But Carnforth tumbled to 102 all out as they tried to chase the home side's 206-5.Morecambe beat Fleetwood by three wickets at Broadwater - but had to battle despite skittling the home side for
just 86. Pro Bruce Martin claimed 5-17 but as Tom Blundell starred with the ball for the home side it appeared Morecambe would stumble. Blundell claimed 6-36 as only Martin (32) and Mark Woodhead
(18) made double figures. And it was nervous until Morecambe got home by three wickets. Lancaster's Lune Road clash with Preston was ruined by the rain, although the visitors managed to claim the
better of a draw. Bilal Asad hit 88 in Preston's 165-3 while Lancaster sub pro Wassem Khan was 31 not out when the game was called off. 3D Sports Northern Premier Cricket League
