Morecambe's players returned to Christie Park on Thursday for pre-season training.
Newcomers Michael Carr, Neil Wainwright, Barry Roche, Ryan McCann, Diarmuid O’Carroll and Andy Parrish met their new team mates for the first time along with youth team graduates Matty Bell and Aaron Taylor.
The players were weighed after the summer break and other tests undertaken by sports therapist Dave Edge and conditioning coach Danny Birdsall before the squad undertook some light running.
Welcoming the players back boss Sammy McIlroy said: “The idea of today is to get together and have a light session to brush off any cobwebs.
“The main aim is to do that without picking up any injuries so the players need to be fully warmed up and stretched before the sessions get a little harder.
"The lads look fantastic and it is clear they have all looked after themselves over the summer as well.”
