Stanley have issued their retained list following the conclusion of the 2023/24 campaign and nine players have been released.
Sean McConville, Kelvin Mellor, Matt Lowe, Baba Fernandes, Bailey Sloane, Leslie Adekoya, Jack Massey, Korede Adedoyin and Jack McIntyre will all depart the Wham Stadium this summer.
Tommy Leigh, Liam Coyle, Ben Woods, Oliver Patrick, Dan Martin, Aaron Pickles, Lewis Trickett and Josh Woods have all had contract extensions triggered.
Toby Savin, Shaun Whalley, Joe Pritchard, Rosaire Longelo, Jack Nolan, Seamus Conneely and Connor O’Brien have been offered new deals.
The trio of Jay Rich-Baghuelou, Seb Quirk and Alex Henderson remain under contract for the 2024/25 season.
Lewis Shipley, Brad Hills, Joe Gubbins, Jake Bickerstaff and Radek Vitek have returned to their respective parent clubs following loan spells with the Reds.
The club also confirmed that Liam Isherwood and Emerich Poilly have been invited back for pre-season training.
An official statement read: “We would like to wish those departing all the very best for the future”.
Stanley finished 17th in their first season back in League Two following a 4-1 victory against Tranmere on the final day.
John Doolan is preparing for his first full season in the hot seat after succeeding long-serving boss John Coleman, who was sacked in March along with Jimmy Bell.
McConville’s exit was confirmed earlier this week following 11 years with the Reds over two separate spells.
The 35-year-old initially played for Stanley between 2009 and 2011. He returned in 2015 and went on to play a key role in the League Two title-winning season.
He is the club’s record appearance holder in the Football League and wore the captain’s armband at times.
McConville told the club’s website: "As they say, all good things come to an end and my time at Accrington has come to an end.
"I have 445 appearances, 73 goals, 95 assists and memories which will last a lifetime and I have made friends for life.
"Manager John Coleman and Jimmy Bell, along with chairman Eric Whalley, took a chance on an 18-year-old with a dream of playing football and I owe them everything.
"The fanbase took me as one of their own and my family helped my dream become a reality. I have worn the badge with honour and never left anything out on the pitch.
"I have to thank my mum, my dad, my step mum Maxine, my brother Anthony and my three children, as well as my angel in the sky, Jenna. They sacrificed a lot to let me achieve my dream and I couldn't have done it without them, I owe them so much.
"I will be a Red for life and I look forward to saying goodbye at my testimonial and then see where the next chapter in my life takes me."
McConville’s testimonial will take place in July. Chairman Andy Holt says the winger “fully deserves his club legend status”.
He added: "Sean has been a brilliant servant to the club. He has been part of Stanley teams which have created some superb memories that will live long in all our minds.
"His service has been greatly appreciated. He fully deserves his club legend status and everyone at the club wishes him all the best. It will be good to see him to say goodbye properly at his testimonial game."
