ACCRINGTON Stanley manager John Coleman has turned to an old face once again by securing the services of Darran Kempson from Shrewsbury Town on a month's loan.
And the Reds boss, who missed out on the signing of Charlton's Portuguese stopper Paulo Monteiro due to problems with international clearance, admitted he was delighted to welcome 23-year-old Kempson back to Stanley.
He said: He's a defender we've had before and he brings with him a lot of experience.
"He's played a lot of games in League Two so that should help us."
There was further good news for Reds fans after Aswad Thomas agered to extend his stay from the Valley for a further month.
Coleman added: "He's a good lad and he's got a good attitude. I'm sure he'll have a good career ahead of him."
