Paulo Monteiro's loan move to Stanley from Charlton Athletic is off due to issues regarding the international clearance he needs to play for the club.
Charlton are still waiting for clearance themselves as they only signed the Portuguese defender from Romanian club Farul at the beginning of February.
The London side are prohibited from loaning him to another club until the relevant papers are passed from the Romanian FA.
Reds boss John Coleman will now persue alternatives ahead of Stanley's trip to Rotherham tomorrow.
