Blackburn Rovers chairman John Williams has confirmed contract talks are still on-going with David Bentley, Benni McCarthy and Stephen Warnock.
Meanwhile, the club have also held preliminary discussions with Morten Gamst Pedersen.
"We are still talking to a number of players about new deals and those discussions are on-going," said the Rovers chief.
"Continuity and stability is vital if we want to go forward and this is an important part of that process."
