BACUP boss Brent Peters described their bottom-of-the-table defeat to Abbey Hey a "disaster" - despite bossing the vast majority of the match.
Borough sank to the foot of Vodkat League Division One following this narrow defeat to their Greater Manchester hosts.
Abbey Hey grabbed the only goal of the game when Ashley Mulholland scored on nine minutes.
Peters said: "This result was a disaster, let's not make any mistake about that.
"However, reflecting on the performance and how the game unfolded, we were by the better side, although we did not play as fluent football as we have done in previous games.
"We looked a very good, well-organised side, until the ball got into our final third.
"Several chances were not taken through a lack of composure and expertise in front of goal.
"With more composure, this could have been a 6-1 rout to us."
