STELIOS admitted Wanderers late, late show against Aris Thessaloniki was bittersweet.
The Greek midfielder struck a 93rd-minute equaliser against his fellow countrymen to keep alive Bolton's UEFA Cup hopes.
Bolton looked to be heading for defeat as they trailed to Calvo's 44th-minute opener in Group F.
Stelios struck deep into injury-time to earn a point for Gary Megson's out-of-sorts side - but the late leveller left him with mixed feelings.
"It's always nice to score a goal but I'm disappointed because we should've won the game," said the 33-year-old, who believes the Reebok outfit now face an uphill task at Red Star Belgrade in a week's time to reach the last 32 of the competition.
"We didn't not perform in the style we should have and we were lucky to get the late goal and the point.
"Red Star away is going to be very difficult night for us."
And Stelios knows Wanderers most produce a much-improved display if they are to stretch their five-game unbeaten run when they travel to Liverpool for Sunday's Premier League clash - a match he is desperate to be involved in.
He added: "It will be hard for us away from home, especially as they've had an extra day's rest compared to us.
"I just want to be involved - I want to be involved in every game."
