BURNLEY will step up their search for a new manager today after drawing up a shortlist of candidates.
Operations director Brendan Flood met chairman Barry Kilby yesterday to finalise their wanted list, and they will now spend the next few days trying to recruit the man of their choice.
The Lancashire Telegraph understands that Mike Newell and Simon Grayson are on the shortlist.
And we can reveal that Micky Adams, Mick Harford, Joe Kinnear and Carlton Palmer have also applied for the job.
