WANDERERS will be without top scorer, Nicolas Anelka, at West Ham tomorrow.
The France international has failed to respond to treatment on the hamstring injury he picked up in Sunday's 1-1 draw with Aston Villa and is now a major doubt for next Thursday's UEFA Cup group game away to Bayern Munich.
Joey O'Brien is also out of the Hammers game after straining a hamstring in Wednesday's Carling Cup defeat by Manchester City. But Gary Megson is hoping the impressive Andy O'Brien, who took a knock in the back in the cup game, will be fit to continue at the heart of his defence.
The Wanderers boss has dismissed speculation that Anelka could be a January transfer window target for a number of clubs, including City, one of his former clubs.
"People of the stature and the quality of Nicolas Anelka are always going to get other clubs interested," he said.
"It's always going to be in the press. There's nothing that's been set in stone either way, but there's nothing to deal with at the moment, so we'll not deal with it."
Hammers boss Alan Curbishley is hoping his midfield duo, Hayden Mullins and Mark Noble, who picked up knee and groin injuries respectively in the Carling Cup win at Coventry will be fit to face Wanderers.

I'll be the one with the tickets for sale sign (in the home end). Any German beer is better than the p*** served over here :)
Keep Bayern down to 3-0 and it will be a result. Get Anelka right for the Boro game. Love to see our best team give BM a run but the prem is more important. What pubs beer houses in Marienplatz ? anybody???

Augustiner Beer Halle is in Marienplatz. The Hofbrauhaus is off on one of the side streets. Hofbrauhaus is usually full of tourists, but the Augustiner is good. There is also Killians Irish Bar there, and at Rosenheimer Platz there is the Outland Pub. Up in Schwabing you will find the Shamrock. Unfortunately, one of my favourite haunts, Günther Murphys had to close this year :-(

Im not bothered if we do get hammered. We, Bolton Wanderers are playing Bayern Munich in a european competition. Looking at their side, its better than the German national team, and as there reserves beat England at Wembely, it would be quite a feat for Bolton to do anything. However if we do lose a draw in Belgrade and beating the greeks would see us through.
