BLACKBURN Rovers suffered a second successive league defeat as Doncaster Rovers left Ewood Park 3-1 victors.

Goal-less at half-time, Doncaster took the lead within a minute of the second half re-starting through John Marquis who pounced on a defensive error from Elliott Ward.

James Coppinger made it 2-0 from the spot 20 minutes later after being brought down by Charlie Mulgrew, before Alfie May added a third inside the final 10 minutes after a mistake by David Raya.

Dominic Samuel scored his first goal at Ewood Park before the end, nodding in a deflected Ryan Nyambe cross, but it was too little too late for Rovers.
