ROVERS have announced that two of their home fixtures in March have been switched.
The game against Wigan on Saturday, March 3 has been moved back 24 hours, while the Ewood Park game against Bradford City has been brought forward to Good Friday (March 30).
Tony Mowbray’s men were set to host Wigan Athletic in their first match of March, but that fixture clashed with Burnley’s home date with Everton.
On police advice, Rovers’ game has been moved back to Sunday, March 4, with a 3pm kick-off.
However, should Burnley’s clash with Everton be moved to the Sunday for TV requirements, then the Rovers match will revert back to the Saturday.
Later that month, Rovers were due to face the Bantams at Ewood on Saturday, March 31, but the game will now go ahead on Good Friday.
The game will stay as a 3pm kick-off.
The switch will allow Rovers an extra day to prepare for their Easter Monday (April 2) at MK Dons (3pm).
