Their reward is a second round home date with Hull City as Rovers look to continue their impressive start to the season.

Bradford had started Sunday’s game the brighter of the two sides, as Ellie Olds twice went close.

Rovers had the ball in the net at the midway point of the first-half, only for Saffron Jordan to see her effort chalked off for offside.

The Bantams continued to enjoy more of the ball though, and Hannah Campbell saw an effort come back off the post after capitalising on a defensive error.

Rovers did however improve after the break, with Lynda Shepherd going close to opening the scoring as she headed a Natasha Fenton corner narrowly wide.

With 15 minutes to go it was Bradford threatened, with Danielle Hill forced in to a smart save from Campbell, before Kayleigh McDonald ensured the game stayed goalless with a fine interception.

Then, with extra-time looming, substitute McCoy sent Rovers through, firing home after running on to a Jordan through-ball as Rovers celebrated a first round success.
