Following the opening fixture, the Clarets take a trip to newly-promoted Scunthorpe before entertaining QPR.
The first local derby of the season sees Blackpool visit Turf Moor on September 15, with the return fixture at Bloomfield Road on New Year's Day.
The Clarets face Preston on December 15 at home with the game at Deepdale on March 22.
