I am a great believer in what goes around comes around, and this has given me some respite in what otherwise was a bad weekend.

You see I can just about handle the defeat at Shrewsbury to a goal that shouldn't have stood due to a hand ball moments earlier, and I can cope with a disallowed goal to boot.

However, when I started to examine the other results in the league this Saturday and discovered that Chester had played a team littered with youth players against Mark Wright's mates at Boston, I was dumbfounded.

Inevitably, Boston won and they live to fight another day, then a call from bubs gave me a glimmer of hope.

I had forgotten that in 2001 Boston won the Conference title despite breaking the league's rules, and they effectively denied Dagenham and Redbridge their rightful promotion.

Coming forward to the present day, Daggers have won promotion to League Two and Boston are looking favourites for the drop and the circle of justice will be complete.

This Saturday will see a Battle Royale at the Fraser Eagle Stadium as Paul Ince makes the short TRIP (sorry for the pun!) to East Lancashire.

The Cloggers of Macclesfield have not travelled well this season, and with the Reds in cracking home form, it promises to be an afternoon to remember.

We need to turn out in big numbers and make a big noise for the full 90 minutes.

This is our last chance this season to turn the FES into a red and white fortress.

If you are going on Saturday, take a mate, knock on your neighbour's door and drag them along too.

If you have a work colleague who is fed up with the soft football in the Premiership/Championship, where players like to dive at the slightest touch, bring them along to witness why in the 1800's northern men invented a passion and called it football.

This is now and this is the time for action.
