TEENAGER Chris McCann scored a late winner to snatch all three points at Turf Moor.

The Irish youngster got on the end of Michael Duff's centre three minutes from time to complete a remarkable comeback.

Steve Cotterill's men had been 2-0 down after eight minutes but the turning point of the game came just before the break when the Baggies were reduced to ten men.

West Brom defender Paul McShane jumped to clear a high ball, and accidentally clashed heads with James O'Connor, but somehow received a straight red card.

That swung the game in Burnley's favour and they didn't disappoint.

But it was a very different story in the opening minutes as Tony Mowbray's side ran riot.

In the sixth minute, Jason Koumas gave West Brom the lead when he left two players in his wake before lashing a shot from 25 yards past Brian Jensen.

Just 76 seconds later, Nathan Ellington made it two when he got on the end of Zoltan Gera's cross and the ball found the net via a deflection off Wayne Thomas.

Andy Gray got the Clarets back into the game in the 15th minute when he pounced a defensive mix-up to halve the deficit.

And the Scottish international restored parity just after the break when he pounced on a bouncing ball in the box to fire the ball past Dean Kiely.

With time running out, McCann made sure he was the hero as he popped up to steal the points and push the Clarets up to 15th in the Championship table
